Waterfall #1 First Descent

Flowform: The Waterfall Series

Flowform - The Waterfall Series marks a new sculptural chapter within Yorkshire Glass Fusing Studio  — a study of movement, gravity, and the quiet power of descent. Each piece begins as a hand‑cut sheet of glass, guided through heat and time until it softens into sweeping, fluid curves that echo the natural fall of water.

These works explore the moment where motion becomes stillness: the suspended drop, the softened edge, the sense of flow held in permanent pause. Every sculpture is shaped by the kiln’s slow choreography, capturing the calm, meditative qualities of falling water while celebrating the unpredictability of molten glass.

This series invites viewers to stand close, slow down, and feel the gentle pull of vertical motion — a reminder that even in stillness, there is always movement beneath the surface.

These forms belong to my own collection and are not available for sale but future pieces will be released as they are created.
