Service Description

Workshop Overview A calm, hands‑on fused‑glass workshop suitable for beginners and returning makers. You’ll explore colour, texture and techniques while creating your own kiln‑fired piece. What You’ll Make a 15cm x 15cm Raku‑inspired glass piece that is tack‑fused to create the pattern, then fired again to shape it into a sushi‑dish mould. Your work will spend a total of 48 hours in the kiln, developing depth, texture and the distinctive Raku‑style character. You can choose from four colour palettes — red & black, grey & white, French vanilla & cyan, or white & black — and your instructor will guide you through the differences between tack‑fused and full‑fused finishes so you can personalise your piece.
